The group was the best of this trip. Even though the difference in age, we create a fantastic group laughing and enjoying every single moment. We did respect the time of every single person and enjoy the wonder of the west alps at its best. Monte Rosa present one of the biggest glaciers in europe and to trek here in June it was a fantastic experience. We also hiked in Mont Avic natural park, in the Val Clavalitè valley where we spended the night in the fancy Borroz Hut. We did visit the Lavolidec Lake and many other lake in Monte Rosa region. The dinner at Ferraro hut was one of the highlights as usual. The incredible Fausta welcomed us in the hut in this which is considered low season even though the mountains are at its best. The last day we also had the time to visit The famous Matterhorn or Cervino as we say in Italian. Cervino is the 4478m mountain which everyone knows due to its peaky view. To see it from the Blu Lake it was wonderful and than I will also not forget the last beer at the feet of the Matterhorn. I really thanks all of you guys for the wonderful time spent together with the best possible spirit. See you in the next adventure in the Italian Alps.
Trekking in Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Mont Avic should be something everyone should do in his/her life. It is perfect for any kind of outdoor enthusiasts. And June is again confirmed as the best month for hiking in the Italian Alps. Wonderful landscapes, green grass, snow capped mountains and a lot of water!
