Piedmont region, in the north west of Italy is a magnificent touristic attraction. The reason why I would never live outside Piedmont is because of the Alps of course. When Nimsha asked mr for Rocciamelone even though it was the first experience for her and his husband Nimesh I had a B plan ready in my pocket. And it is quite easy here as there are so many beautiful option to stay in the mountains nearby torino. Even Daily hike tour from Turin are possible to organizeall year long.
With this very nice indian couple we want visiting maybe two of the nicest areas of the Piedmont region. The Green lakes in Ala valley, where Bivacco Gandolfo is set and in Robinet peak, in Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park.

As Nimesh and Nimsha were begineeers they need to understand how to move in the wild environment, dealing with stones and sliding terrain. They finally adapt very nicely and we could see one of the most beautiful piedmont mountains. Sleeping at the top of RObinet peak, with a good weather is something amazing that everyone should try at least once in a life.
I also dare to cook Indian food and apparently it worked: my dal with piadina it worked fine and Nimsha and Nimesh approved the quality. I thanks them for their energy and will. It was not easy but they persevered. And they could finally enjoy the magic of the Piedmont Mountains!
