According to this perspective, the tour will take place from the crowded Venetian historical center to Lido, the best-known island of the International Film festival and charming Liberty buildings; from Pellestrina, a long strip of land dotted with colorful villages, naturalistic oases and exquisite fish cuisine, to Chioggia, the little Venice that seals the lagoon southwards. We will meet at Venezia Santa Lucia railway station in the morning for a meeting with the guide and the program's presentation. Subsequently, after a nice city hike, we will depart for Sant'Elena, the opposite edge of Venice (5 km), where a public boat will bring us to Lido, our first destination. The Lido overlooks the Adriatic sea and the lagon. Once the sea reached, we will walk along Murazzi, massive stone blocks which arrest the sea waters up to the ancient village of Malamocco. In the last stretch of the route (4 km), a public bus will take us to the island's extreme boundary: here, we will have lunch at a restaurant along the way or (depending on preferences) packed lunch. From here, catching a ferry, we will reach Pellestrina and walk to the small town of Portosecco to then move on- through a public bus (3 km) - to the village of Sant'Antonio and continue towards the naturalistic oasis of Caroman. With a boat, we will reach our final stop: Chioggia. Here we will visit the historical center and drink the traditional ombra of wine to finally end our journey coming back to Venice by bus (1 hr). The scheduled return time in Venice is between 6 pm and 8 pm. Following that, we will greet local contacts.
