Also, you have to think that the way down has 2000 meters of the downhill walk. This is really quite challenging. At the end of the trekking, which is challenging, we can enjoy a marvelous mountain food in the beautiful village of Cogne. In doing the Rossa Peak in PNGP we can sleep in an unguarded hut or in a mountain lodge. It is up to you if you want more comfort or you are ready also to sleep in the ground with potentially other 12 people in the same 8 square meters room. This corner of Alps is unforgettable and you will never regret to choose trekking in this area! Forests, meadows and sighting the glaciers: this weekend is challenging but it will impress amazing images in your soul. You need to have a certain experience as the walk is in the high mountain environment and quite exposed. In the weekend of July and August, the hut has more probability to be busy, so we suggest the mountain lodge for this Trekking Peak. It is possible to arrange the sleeping accommodation in an unguarded hut at above 3200 meters in the very rough and wild unguarded hut Gratton or in the Sella shelter.
