Sometimes Spring can be considered already mid March, sometimes it starts only at the end of April. In any case even in this season, you will definitely find a fantastic environment where to spend your hiking holidays in the Alps. Even in the cities you will not find hot temperatures and a nice breeze is usually blowing. Advanced hike in Italy, Piedmont Alps
Enrico is The guide with many years of experience, highly professional attitude, excellent ability of orientation, deep knowledge of weather changing patterns and many many connections with locals in Piedmont Italy.
I and other traveller from USA were looking for a challenge and we got one of the toughest hikes of our live. That said he can definitely organize a hiking trail for any level of skills and satisfy adventurous desires of different kinds.
I was personally amazed by his ability to literally create a trail on the fly. We could got into bad weather conditions as the weather was changing from heat and sun to thunder with rains and even snow. Enrico was able to read the situation and made decisions to modify the route that prevented us from getting into serious troubles (thanks to him we were enjoying thunders looking at it from other valleys instead of running down the mountain for our lives).
Enrico also has a good knowledge of Italian cuisine and traditions that he shares, and even as sceptic as I was I enjoyed it.
I can keep going and going, but iām conclusion if you go with Enrico, you will definitely get what you are looking for and will surely enjoy one the best adventures in live!!!
Great guide makes all the difference
My family of 4 spent two days in May 2022 with Enrico hiking in Valle d'Aosta with an overnight stay at a hut (Bivacco Borroz) and on the second day a visit to (lake) Lago Lavodilec. The unguarded hut may be more than we asked for š but memories are made out of surprises and deep impressions. Beautiful off season hike made memorable by the very experienced Enrico. We enjoyed the conversations on multiple topics that only knowledgeable and experienced guides can handle. More importantly, we feel safe. Looking forward to another opportunity to engage them again for a bespoke hike in less known but beautiful valleys in Italy! The secon part of the Trip with Roberto in Lanzo Valleys was also memorable. Great location and beautiful nature!
Fantastic experience with Trekking Alps
I spent one week hiking with Trekking Alps: a four day trip with Roberto, then a day hike and one overnight with Enrico. We had to break up the week because some refugios weren't open due to snow. Each trip was different with different people, but each day was consistently spectacular!! They decide which routes to do at the last minute, depending upon conditions, and took us to absolutely gorgeous valleys, mountains, lakes, waterfalls...places I never could have found on my own. Enrico shared a lot of knowledge about the area geology, flora, fauna and the Italian Alps are absolutely as beautiful as they say. Highly recommend hiking with them.
Came from Alaska, and we were Impressed!
We came to Italy to hike with both Enrico and Roberto. The trip surpassed our expectations. We did 5 days of hiking, 2 with Roberto and 3 with Enrico. Scenery was amazing, food, beer and wine were fantastic. Acommodations were unique, fun and diverse. We had a blast. Both of these guys are fun to be around, good conversationalists, and finding a way to make a living doing what they love. They made all the arrangements, tailored the trip to the conditions, picked routes we Alaskan's would love. I realize we were early in the season (April) but I was amazed they found places where we saw very few (zero on some days) other people while hiking. They offer great value for what they charge. I highly recommend Trekking Alps!
3 Days in Heaven!!
Roberto was an excellent guide who was easily contactable, knew the area well and helped us to select a day hike suitable for our capabilities. He also provided us with hiking boots and trekking poles and helped us in areas where we struggled. It was a perfect day for a hike and I wish I've booked a longer tour! Do not visit Turin without visiting the Alps! š
